“ I'm so happy because a delicious Korean restaurant just opened in my neighborhood! Everything I tried was amazing--chicken, 소떡소떡(sausage and rice cake skewers), and kimchi pancakes. But the real surprise? The jjambbong was even better than the ones in Flushing's famous Chinese restaurants! I don't usually leave reviews, but the food was so good that I had to share this. Wishing them great success! ”
“ Got takeout from here once. The restaurant is very unassuming. It almost looks like a bare kitchen, no one's inside. I walked into the way back and there you can place your order with the kitchen. I don't know why it's so empty here. There are dine in tables available, but I guess it's mostly a delivery take out place. The Food: I got the tuna gimbap and kimchi stew. A little pricey at around $15 for a gimbap roll, same for the stew, but it comes with a lot of food. The gimbap had a lot of meat and stuff inside. The kimchi stew was pretty good. It also comes with sides. I got little side of kimchi and miso soup. I would be interested to try the spicy tuna gimbap and maybe the bulgogi one another time, but I haven't since revisited. Overall, food was good and very filling big portions. I definitely had leftovers for the next day. ”
“ Amazing meal for a late night food delivery post flight. Super hearty soups and comes with good radish kimchi, white rice, and comes super quickly! Also packaged super nicely! If you have any late night cravings for Korean food, this is the go to ”
“ The chicken was good as well as the bulgogi kimbap. It was nice and quiet because they're still renovating. We didn't know it was takeout only. But the server cleaned up one table so we could sit. It was so fulfilling, we got enough chicken to bring home to snack on later. ”
“ Ordered delivery couple of times. Donkatsu kimbap so good. On days you want spicy, try spicy tuna kimbap! Can't go wrong with their kimbap. Kimchi stew was good too, lots of kimchi. I ALWAYS get the skewer with rice cake and sausage!! That's my fav!! Overall everything tastes pretty good. Not much MSG either, I didn't feel gross after. Quick delivery via grubhub. Will order again soon! ”
“ My go to spot to order takeout in LIC! Their kimbap is always great and so is their budaejjigae and also seafood tofu soup! Reasonably priced and consistently delicious ”
“ Today I came to Lim's Kitchen in Astoria. I've heard of the one in Bayside but never gone so I decided to give this one a try. Overall, the service was very good. The guy at the front desk was very helpful in helping with our order. He was also nice and told us the drinks were on the house! That just made my day! I ordered one soft tofu stew with beef, spicy rice cake, jja jjang myeon, and kimchi pancake. Overall I really liked the jja jjang myeon because it tasted good and was not overwhelming with onions. The last time I had it I was traumatized with the amount of onions in the dish but the one here was perfect! The soft tofu stew was good too and totally hit the spot! My stomach felt warm after eating as if my empty void was now filled. The kimchi pancake was good, the portion was generous with six slices of kimchi pancake. It tasted good dipped into the spicy rice cake sauce. As for the spicy rice cake it tasted like typical spicy rice cake. It was good, but by the time I got to it I was so full. Overall everything was really yummy. The pricing came to about $63 for everything which is not terrible, I thought it was a little high but since it was pretty yummy it wasn't bad. I would come back here to try other things! It's a nice place to go and eat and catch up with friends! ”
“ Was craving Kim Bap and luckily that's Lim's kitchen's specialty! I went all out and shared the vegan and kimchi kimbap with my wife while I got the bulgogi. Only time I've really had kimbap is in California where it's more plentiful and this definitely hit the spot! It was tasty and a solid portion size. Love the punch of the radish. Ordered the boneless fried chicken too which was good but texturally, I think it could benefit from being white instead of dark meat. Fairly priced and I love that they deliver to the UES. Will definitely order delivery again when in the mood for Korean comfort food! ”
“ One of my favorite delivery places, the quality was always great from this place. The jjajangmyeon was a personal favorite of mine, but their spicy pork, bulgogi and kimchi jjigae were also excellent. ”
